Rather than objects consigned to the scrap pile, ELECTRONICOS FANTASTICOS! reimagines the machines of the past as mechanisms that can shape history for years to come.
With salvaged appliances turned DIY electromagnetic instruments, Japanese music collective ELECTRONICOS FANTASTICOS! playfully reimagines the potential of live instrumentation. Folkloric melodies, buzzing textures, and upbeat rhythms become the voice of memories embedded in the apparatus of everyday life.
