バーコードレス/バーコーダンス│Barcodress/Barcodance (from “ELECTRONICOS FANTASTICOS!“)［Performance］
　
バーコードリーダーのスキャン信号を音声端子に接続することで音を鳴らす楽器《バーコーダー》から派生した衣服。白黒のパターンがそのまま音の波となり、縞模様から音が生まれる。この原理を発展させ、音の信号を縞模様としてドレスに刻み込んだ《バーコードレス》を制作。ダンサーがこれを身に纏って踊り、演奏者がスキャンすることで、身体の動きから音の波を生み出していく。そして、服と踊りと演奏が一体となった舞踏表現《バーコードレス》を展開する。さながら服がレコード、踊りの回転がターンテーブル、スキャンする演奏者がレコード針のような役割を果たし、記録再生の原理を身体表現へと拡張する。

The Barcodress opens up possibilities for new kinds of dance performances.
Clothes which recorded sounds as striped patterns, dancers wearing the clothes, and performers who scan the clothes together can generate electrical sound waves in real time.
By expanding the principles of sound recording and playback to human bodies, we explore new relationships between music and dance expressions.
